Situated in the beautiful village of Rusper, Ghyll Manor is just 40 mins by car to Brighton. Discover Brighton’s world-famous 'Laines' packed with individual shops and boutiques, not to mention coffee shops and restaurants. There’s also a modern shopping centre full of the high street favourites.
London is just 30 mins by train allowing you to discover all that is offered by the Capital – take a 'flight' on the London Eye, see the Crown Jewels, a west-end show, world famous art galleries or explore the London Dungeon.
Locally there are many places of interest to enjoy the pretty countryside. National Trust properties locally including Petworth House, Wakehurst Place, Bodiam Castle, Sheffield Park Gardens and Nymans gardens - renowned for its historic collections of plants, shrubs and trees. The gardens of Leonardslee are nearby – famous for their breath-taking display of rhododendrons and azaleas. The awe-inspiring Architectural Plants nursery near Horsham gives you inspiration for your own garden along with being able to make a few purchases too.
The nearby South Downs provide dozens of country walks, many with views across the coastline.

Are you eligible to join csma?
You are eligible to join csma if you currently or ever have worked for the Civil Service or any organisation that was once part of it (ex-Civil Service organisations such as BT and the Post Office). Even if you are employed by an Agency on a fixed term contract or you are retired from any of the qualifying organisations you are still guaranteed csma membership.
In addition, parents, siblings and adult children of csma members can also join, regardless of their employment.
