At Ghyll Manor Hotel & Restaurant we understand that weddings are extremely personal and that no two weddings are the same, however we have produced a package for you to base your wedding on, but of course we can ‘tailor make’ a special package for every individual. 

Our standard package based on minimum number of 65 guests includes:

  • Function Room hire for Wedding Breakfast
  • Reception drink - Bucks Fizz and Fruit Punch
  • 4 course set menu
  • Coffee & Mints 
  • Half bottle house wine per person
  • Sparkling wine for the toast
  • A member of the operational management team to act as a ‘Master of Ceremonies’
  • Silver cake knife and stand
  • Place cards, table plan, menus
  • Complimentary bridal suite*

To enhance your wedding even further why not treat yourselves to the following:

  • Pre ceremony reception to include bucks fizz and canapé selection (£7.50 per person)
  • Champagne reception drink or toast: (Additional £2.00 per person)
  • Canapes: £5.50 per person (Choice of 4)
  • Mineral Water £3.95
  • Cheese platters £35.00 (suitable for table of 8 guests)
  • Liqueur with coffee from £4.00 per person
  • Evening Reception: (From £15.00 per person)

Meal and wine upgrades will be dependant upon which options are chosen in your wedding package.

Wedding menus

We know that you will have unique ideas and will expect the very best when it comes to planning your wedding breakfast and evening reception for you and your guests.

Please choose your four course menu from our selection for all of your guests; we will of course cater for anyone with dietary requirements. These menus of course can be adapted to your individual requirements or the Head Chef can work with you to design your own menu for your special day.

The following selection is taken from our wedding information pack which holds full details of all choices available:

TO START

  • Seasonal melon with orange sorbet & fruit coulis
  • Warm goats cheese tart, sun blushed tomato vinaigrette
  • Ham hock terrine with celeriac salad, honey & raisin dressing

TO TASTE

  • Orange & rosemary sorbet
  • Lemon & marjoram sorbet
  • Passion fruit sorbet

TO FOLLOW

  • Pan Fried supreme of corn fed chicken wrapped in smoked bacon, with a madeira and peppercorn sauce
  • Pan-fried salmon served on a bed of watercress & spinach, beurre blanc
  • Tenderloin of pork, with a pink peppercorn & port sauce

TO FINISH

  • Vanilla crème brulee
  • Passion fruit parfait with citrus salad
  • White chocolate mousse with strawberries & mint

CANAPES

  • Choice of 4 £5.50 per person
  • Crayfish cocktail with Marie rose & basil
  • Chicken liver parfait with grapes & chutney
  • Mediterranean vegetable pesto quiche

Evening Celebration

We have put together some buffet menus for you to help your celebrations continue into the evening

  • £200.00 for Terrace Room

The cost to hire our resident DJ is £350.00
